Lawrence
WATCH
Spending against him in the primary: Crush MAGA PAC ran a $532,000
ad campaign (Prospect, as of July 11). Its affiliate, Save Democracy PAC,
received $100,000 from UDP on May 20 (Prospect, citing an FEC record
I did not open). UDP's spokesperson denied involvement in the ads. A
separate report, sourced to two anonymous people and no filing, says a
DMFI-linked group opened an ad buy "beginning with $899,000." Treat
that last item as weak.
Also: American Action Network (aligned with House Republican leadership) is running $1.3M of ads across
MI-07 and MI-08, split not disclosed.
